AISCA'S VISION

To be a prime organisation in India ensuring purposeful and dignified life with care and love for Senior Citizen's, and to help the Senior Citizen's in the country.

AISCA'S MISSION

To be a Civil Society for all ages in India for welfare of Senior Citizen's and to ensure sustainable quality and dignity of their life. To create an environment where seniors live with self-respect, dignity and confidence and participate in overall progress of the society, and to utilise rich experience and vast knowledge of seniors to improve the life style of public in general, and Senior Citizen's in particular, both in rural and urban areas.

AIM & OBJECTIVE


  • 1.To improve the quality of life and to enhance the dignity of the senior citizens to make the respected and valued members of the society.
  • 2.To co-ordinate the activities of Senior Citizen's and arrange activities for them.
  • 3.To study the problems of senior citizens in rural and urban areas and to work for their solution.
  • 4.To utilize the experience and knowledge of the senior citizens for the benefit of the society.
  • 5.To create an awareness in the society of their responsibilities towards seniors.
  • 6.To strengthen the ability and commitment of the family to provide care to older persons.
  • 7.To popularize the concept of lifelong preparation for old age at the individual and society levels and to facilitate productive ageing.
  • 8.To hold conferences, workshops, seminars, lectures, public meetings, camps on matters of interest to senior citizens.
  • 9.To encourage, support and/or establish medical facilities for the senior citizens.
  • 10.To encourage, support and/or establish old age homes, respite care homes, hostels, day-care centres, multi-purpose centres and holiday resorts for the senior citizens.
  • 11.To take up matters relating to senior citizens with the local State/ Central Governments/appropriate authorities.
  • 12.To co-operate with organizations of India and abroad having similar aims and objects.
  • 13.To undertake/promote study of and research in Gerontology and Geriatrics and disseminate knowledge for the benefit of senior citizens.
  • 14.To help the Central and State Governments devise schemes ensuring that allocated funds reach senior citizens.
  • 15.To collect subscriptions, donations, and grants, invest funds and utilize income solely towards the aims of the Association.
  • 16.To purchase, lease or acquire movable/immovable property for the Association.
  • 17.To do all things incidental or conducive to the attainment of the aims and objects.
  • 18.To start various businesses for capable senior citizens and use their abilities.
  • 19.To help single senior citizens re-establish themselves and arrange tours, entertainment and fun activities.
