2. Vision and Mission of AISCA
Vision: To be a prime organisation in India ensuring purposeful and dignified life with care and love for Senior Citizen's, and to help the Senior Citizen's in the country.
Mission: To be a Civil Society for all ages in India for welfare of Senior Citizen's and to ensure sustainable quality and dignity of their life. To create an environment where seniors live with self-respect, dignity and confidence and participate in overall progress of the society, and to utilise rich experience and vast knowledge of seniors to improve the life style of public in general, and Senior Citizen's in particular, both in rural and urban areas.
3. Objectives of Association
- 1. To enhance the well-being of senior citizens by providing tailored services that prioritize their comfort, safety, and independence.
- 2. To create programs and initiatives aimed to promote and empower seniors, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives and remain active contributors to their communities.
- 3. To improve the quality of life and maintain the dignity of older persons by providing basic amenities like shelter, food, medical care, entertainment opportunities, and by encouraging productive and active aging through association.
- 4. To represent, promote and protect the interests of its members and senior citizens.
- 1. To provide information and education services for risk prevention, particularly in agriculture produce, to agriculture producers.
- 2. To assist individuals and/or organizations having similar objectives through consultancy, guidance, monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination of educational materials.
- 3. To procure recognition of the Company under applicable laws and regulate agencies for its activities.
- 4. To promote and execute social cause activities in agriculture and define norms and quality standards.
- 5. To set up a Radio station and a Television channel to promote educational, social and cultural programmes.
- 6. To accept funds through donations, subscriptions or other lawful means.
- 7. Provided that the Company shall not act as a trade union or impose restrictive regulations.
- 8. To utilise surplus funds not immediately required for the Company’s objects.
- 9. To train or sponsor training of employees or candidates for furtherance of Company’s objects.
- 10. To receive donations, grants or loans and organize income-generating activities.
- 11. To enter into technical or management collaborations.
- 12. To enter into joint ventures or cooperative arrangements for achieving the main objects.
- 13. To pay all preliminary and incidental expenses of formation of the Company.
- 14. To appoint professional advisors, consultants, faculty and staff.
- 15. To establish, maintain and manage branches of the Company.
- 16. To carry out all lawful acts necessary to achieve the above objects.
4. Rule and Regulations of Association
- 1. "Senior Citizen" means a person who has attained the age of 60 years, or as decided by Government of India from time to time.
- 2. "Central Committee" shall mean the Central Committee of the Association as prodded in these Rules. Central Committee is the General Body of the Association.
- 3. "Executive Committee" shall mean the Executive Committee of the Association as provided in these Rules.
5. Central Committee
The general control, management and direction of the policies and affairs of the Association shall be vested in the Central Committee. It is the General Body of the Association for all purposes and functions.
6. Audit of Accounts
The accounts of the Association shall be audited for each financial year by a Chartered Accountant duly appointed for the purpose, at the Annual Central Committee Meeting.
7. Jurisdiction
All disputes against the AISCA shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Pune only.
